Q.  Why do I require "Unlimited Incoming Plan" for my cellular phone?
A. 
It is not required to use the service.  However, our Call-Back service allows you to make very cheap outgoing calls during the time frame covered by the “Unlimited Incoming Calls” portion of your plan. The greater this time frame, the greater your savings. All Incoming calls are Free with the "Unlimited Incoming Calls" portion the cellular providers offer.  We make your outgoing calls using this feature. Thus an “Unlimited Incoming Plan” gives you total 24/7 freedom of use of your cell phone.
 

Q.  I have Unlimited Evenings & Weekends. Can I use your service?
A.  Yes, but in order to maximize your savings and prevent the use of your outgoing minutes you must have Unlimited Incoming all the time.  Simply contact your cellular provider and ask them to set you up.

 

Q.  Can I use my phonebook so that I will not have to manually enter numbers?
A.  Not at the moment.  Our engineers are currently looking into how to provide that service in the future.
 

Q.  I dial the call-back number, I wait, but my phone doesn't ring.  What should I do?
A.  Remove the Privacy / Call Block feature from your cell phone.  When you call us, our servers must be able to recognize your cell number to verify that you are a subscriber.  If your call shows Private Number or Unavailable, it will not recognize you as being a subscriber.  Dial *82 prior to dialing the local access call-back number to show your number to our server.  If you are still having difficulty, contact your provider and ask them "How do I unblock my cell number?"
 

Q.  Will I be charged on my cellular phone bill for using your service?
A.  When you receive a call-back and you are within your local calling area, you will not be charged.  If you are outside your local area, roaming fee and long distance charges may apply.  To know what you can and can't do, refer to your cell phone provider plan details. To find out more about these fees, contact your provider.
 

Q. Where can Cell Phone Freedom be used from?
A. You can use Cell Phone Freedom from anywhere across Canada and USA! You still pay the same low per minute long distance rates that you would enjoy when making calls from your cellular phone at home. Note that any roaming charges and any other charges that are applicable to your cellular phone plan would be charged by your provider when you are outside your local coverage area.


Q.  How does your service know to call me back?
A.  When you activate your phone with us, we register your cell number with our system.  When you call the Call-Back number, our server will recognize your cell phone number and call you back.
 

Q.  What if I miss the call-back to me?
A.  You should receive a call-back within seconds of hanging up.  If you do not receive a call within 3 to 5 seconds, the system was unable to reach you.  This could mean you were either on a call, there was a poor signal or your number was blocked when you called our system.  Simply call the number back and try again.
 

Q.  What do I hear when I answer the call-back?
A.  When you receive a call-back you will hear a voice prompt:  "Please enter the phone number you wish to reach".  If you are not registered on our system (whether by your subscription having expired, or your cell number not having been activated yet), you will not receive a call-back.
 

Q.  What number appears when I am making calls using the Unlimited Calling feature?
A.  Your cellular number will appear on the recipients caller ID.
 

Q.  Can I block my cellular number from the party I am calling?
A.  Yes, simply dial *67 prior to entering the number you wish to reach.
 

Q.  Can I call 800 numbers with your plans?
A.  Yes, all our plans allow calls to 800 numbers.
 

Q.  What is my local coverage area?
A.  This is the local calling area covered by your cell phone provider where you can make and receive calls without being charged Long Distance or Roaming fees.  Your cellular provider can provide you the exact details of your local coverage area (or home area).
 

Q.  Does Call-Back work with all cellular carriers?
A.  Yes, Cell Phone Freedom service works with all cellular carriers that offer Unlimited Incoming - there is no need to switch carriers or cellular phones.
 

Q.  How do I cancel my service?
A.  Simply let it expire.  If you ordered online, send us an email & we will cancel your subscription.  Simple as that!
